Intraday Calls

Review of the Last Intra-day:

During previous intraday the Nifty made a high of 6780 and low 6708. After making an intraday range of 72 points, the Share Bazaar closed down 46 points at 6715. On the last trading day, European indices were up. FTSE was up 70 points, CAC was up 37 point, and DAX was up 138 points. US markets were up. Dow Jones closed up 87 points, S&P 500 was up 9 points, and Nasdaq was up by 29 point.

FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:

Yesterday, FIIs bought Rs. 288 crores in cash segment while DIIs sold Rs. 551 crores in cash. FIIs sold Rs. 428 crores in Index futures and FIIs sold Rs. 433 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs sold Rs. 691 crores and in stock options FIIs sold Rs. 1 crore. This is the provisional data from NSE. Here you can view final data from SEBI.

Options Segment Activity:

In f&o market, May series options data tells that, Nifty 6800 call adds 3.2 lac shares. Nifty 6800 put adds 1.5 lac shares. Maximum 36 lac shares are outstanding at 7000 call and 31.1 lac shares at 6500 put. According to options data, bears have upper hand on bulls.

Currency Market:
In the currency market the USDINR closed at 60.42. The INR was strong by 0.22 paisa.

Beginning of the Day:

Today morning, Asian markets are trading mix. Nikkei is up 26 points, Hang Seng is down 110 points, Taiwan is down by 28 points, and Kospi is up by 4 points.
