Review of the Last Intra-day:
During previous intraday the Nifty moved in a range of 38 points. The Share Bazaar closed 38 points positive at 6817, after making an intraday high and low of 6825 and 6786 respectively. Yesterday, European indices were closed. US markets were up. Dow Jones closed up 41 points, S&P 500 was up 7 points, and Nasdaq was up by 26 points.
FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:
On the last trading day, FIIs bought Rs. 213 crores in cash segment whereas DIIs sold Rs. 218 crores in cash. FIIs purchased Rs. 378 crores in Index futures and FIIs bought Rs. 355 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs sold Rs. 303 crores and in stock options FIIs sold Rs. 39 crores. Options Segment Activity:
In f&o market, April series options data tells that, Nifty 6700 call adds 10 lac shares. Nifty 6700 put sheds 8 lac shares. Highest OI of 53 lac shares is at 6800 call and 52.6 lac shares is at 6600 put. According to options data, bears have upper hand on bulls.
Currency Market:
In the currency market the USDINR closed at 60.59. The INR was weak by 0.30 paisa.
