Review of the Last Intra-day:
During previous intraday the Nifty made a high of 6838 and low 6806. After making an intraday range of 32 points, the Share Bazaar closed down 2 points at 6815. On the last trading day, European indices were up. FTSE was up 57 points, CAC was up 52 point, and DAX was up 190 points. US markets were up. Dow Jones closed up 65 points, S&P 500 was up 8 points, and Nasdaq was up by 40 point.
FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:
Yesterday, FIIs bought Rs. 163 crores in cash segment while DIIs sold Rs. 298 crores in cash. FIIs purchased Rs. 923 crores in Index futures and FIIs purchased Rs. 490 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs sold Rs. 418 crores and in stock options FIIs bought Rs. 32 crores. This is the provisional data from NSE. Here you can view final data from SEBI.
Options Segment Activity:
In f&o market, April series options data tells that, Nifty 6850 call adds 9.4 lac shares. Nifty 6850 put adds 6.2 lac shares. Maximum 54 lac shares are outstanding at 6900 call and 63.8 lac shares at 6600 put. According to options data, bulls and bears activity is concentrating near 6800-6850 and it should be range of expiry.
Beginning of the Day:
Today morning, Asian markets are trading mix. Nikkei is up 83 points, Hang Seng is down 67 points, and Kospi is up by 2 points. Here you can find latest detail on world market indices along with intraday charts. SGX Nifty is trading 3 points negative till 7:56 a.m. So we can expect a flat opening.
