Review of the Last Intra-day:
During previous intraday the Nifty moved in a range of 40 points. The Share Bazaar closed 31 points positive at 6752, after making an intraday high and low of 6763 and 6723 respectively. Yesterday, European indices were up. FTSE was up 6 points, CAC was up 4 points, and DAX was up 20 points. US markets were up. Dow Jones closed up 40 points, S&P 500 was up 5 points, and Nasdaq was up by 8 points.
FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:
On the last trading day, FIIs bought Rs. 595 crores in cash segment while DIIs sold Rs. 472 crores in cash. FIIs purchased Rs. 225 crores in Index futures and FIIs bought Rs. 731 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs purchased Rs. 407 crores and in stock options FIIs bought Rs. 11 crores. Options Segment Activity:
In f&o market, April series options data tells that, Nifty 6800 call adds 2.1 lac shares. Nifty 6700 put adds 13.5 lac shares. Highest OI of 31.8 lac shares is at 6800 call and 50 lac shares is at 6600 put. According to options data, bulls have upper hand on bears.
Currency Market:
In the currency market the USDINR closed at 59.90. The INR was strong by 0.01 paisa.
