Review of the Last Intra-day:
During previous intraday the Nifty moved in a range of 103 points. The Share Bazaar closed 101 points positive at 6796, after making an intraday high and low of 6808 and 6705 respectively. Yesterday, European indices were up. FTSE was up 45 points, CAC was up 18 points, and DAX was up 16 points. US markets were up. Dow Jones closed up 181 points, S&P 500 was up 20 points, and Nasdaq was up by 71 points.
FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:
On the last trading day, FIIs bought Rs. 1044 crores in cash segment while DIIs sold Rs. 464 crores in cash. FIIs purchased Rs. 121 crores in Index futures and FIIs bought Rs. 1474 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs sold Rs. 119 crores and in stock options FIIs sold Rs. 3 crores. Options Segment Activity:
In f&o market, April series options data tells that, Nifty 6900 call sheds 3.7 lac shares. Nifty 6800 put adds 12.6 lac shares. Highest OI of 38.8 lac shares is at 6800 call and 61.7 lac shares is at 6700 put. According to options data, bulls have upper hand on bears.
Currency Market:
In the currency market the USDINR closed at 60.14. The INR was weak by 0.03 paisa.
