Review of the Last Intra-day:
During previous intraday the Nifty moved in a range of 219 points. The Share Bazaar closed 199 points positive, at new life high at 6858, after making an intraday high and low of 6871 and 6652 respectively. Yesterday, European indices were down. FTSE was down 25 points, CAC was down 30 points, and DAX was down 26 points. US markets were up. Dow Jones closed up 32 points, S&P 500 was up 3 points, and Nasdaq was up by 20 points.
FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:
On the last trading day, FIIs bought Rs. 1269 crores in cash segment whereas DIIs sold Rs. 75 crores in cash. FIIs purchased Rs. 594 crores in Index futures and FIIs sold Rs. 1177 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs sold Rs. 155 crores and in stock options FIIs sold Rs. 119 crores. Options Segment Activity:
In f&o market, May series options data tells that, Nifty 6900 call adds 7.1 lac shares and Nifty 7200 call adds 20.3 lac shares. Nifty 6800 put adds 6.9 lac shares. Highest OI of 53.6 lac shares is at 7000 call and 51.1 lac shares is at 6400 put. According to options data, bulls and bears are building positions for election results.
Currency Market:
In the currency market the USDINR closed at 60.04. The INR was stong by 0.02 paisa.
