Review of the Last Intra-day:

During previous intraday the Nifty made a high of 7020 and low 6862. After making an intraday range of 158 points, the Share Bazaar closed up 155 points at 7014. On the last trading day, European indices were up. FTSE was up 37 points, CAC was up 16 point, and DAX was up 121 points. US markets were up. Dow Jones closed up 112 points, S&P 500 was up 18 points, and Nasdaq was up by 72 point.

FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:

Yesterday, FIIs bought Rs. 1218 crores in cash segment and DIIs also bought Rs. 93 crores in cash. FIIs sold Rs. 258 crores in Index futures and FIIs sold Rs. 1986 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs sold Rs. 42 crores and in stock options FIIs sold Rs. 124 crore. This is the provisional data from NSE. Here you can view final data from SEBI.

Options Segment Activity:

In f&o market, May series options data tells that, Nifty 6900 call sheds 5.7 lac shares and at higher levels huge selling in call options is seen. Nifty 7000 put adds 12.3 lac shares. Maximum 54.4 lac shares are outstanding at 7000 call and 58.4 lac shares at 6400 put. According to options data, bulls/bears are building their positions for election results.

Currency Market:
In the currency market the USDINR closed at 60.05. The INR was weak by 0.01 paisa.

Beginning of the Day:

Today morning, Asian markets are trading positive. Nikkei is up 231 points, Hang Seng is up 52 points, Taiwan is up by 51 points, and Kospi is up by 20 points. SGX Nifty is trading 64 points positive till 7:49 a.m. So we can expect a positive opening. 

Today Nifty opened at 7080 up 66 points and made a new life high of 7147 and low of 7067 till 10:57 a.m. Please be careful at higher levels. The market should give correction today. 

Mid-day Review:
Nifty is at 7120 up 106 points. Nifty made an intraday high of 7172 and low of 7067 till 12:48 p.m. Top gainers for Nifty are BHEL, AMBUJACEM, and DLF whereas losers are DRREDDY, PNB, and HDFCBANK. Intraday Options Data:
